The Emergency Preparedness Program coordinates the planning and preparation for public health emergencies, including infectious disease outbreaks and bioterrorism incidents. This is a collaborative effort with:
  • The Public Health Department
  • Other county departments
  • Local agencies, clinics, and groups that serve the people of Tuolumne County

A Healthcare and Safety Coalition meets quarterly, or as needed. Drills and exercises are held periodically to test and improve local response plans and skills.
